China Automotive Roadmap for 2035

China 🇨🇳 has just released its roadmap for its Automotive Industry 🚘 by 2035 focusing on Electric Vehicles (EVs) 🚗⚡️and Connected Vehicles 🚙📲

Key points:
➡️ „New Energy Vehicles“ are defined as fully Electric Vehicles (BEV) ⚡️but also Plug-in-Hybrids (PHEV) 🔌 and Fuel Cells (FCEV)
➡️ Some key areas should achieve 80% of NEVs as early a 2021
➡️ „National ecological civilization pilot zones“ 🌱 will benefit from new and updated bus 🚌 , rental, logistics and distribution vehicles 🚚 with these „New Technologies“⚡️
➡️ China wants to lead BEV efficiency with a consumption of 12 kWh/100 km 🔋(currently we are more than 15 kWh/100 km)
➡️ NEV sales will reach about 20% of total new car sales 🚘 (currently 5%) with a majority of BEVs 🔌
➡️ Highly automated Vehicles will be adopted on large scale and deployed in specific areas
➡️ Strong charging infrastructure 🔌
➡️ Support development of Battery swapping services 🔋↔️🔋
➡️ Development of Hydrogen Supply
➡️ 🇨🇳 brands will develop internationally
