Electric mobility continues its ramping up with >114 GWh of Batteries ended up in registered Electric Vehicles in H1 2021. This corresponds to an increase of:

🚀 +153% compared to the pandemic-struck H1 2020
🚀 +115% to pre-pandemic H1 2019.

Chinese players shook off all pandemic effects and returned to their unprecedented growth rate and are reclaiming market share from Korean and Japanese players.

Note: Numbers are based on sold and registered EVs (HEVs, PHEVs and full Electric Vehicles). Numbers of shipped batteries into xEVs are higher and might have somewhat different market shares.
