The 2020 EPA Automotive Trends Report is out and it is must read if you are interested in Automotive Industry 🚘

Each year, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) collects data on Vehicles, would it be on their CO2 emissions, their available Technologies and a lot of other things

Quick summary:
➡️ CO2 emissions slightly increased 📈 from last year’s
➡️ Market is shifting away from “normal cars” towards more SUV
➡️ Most Car Manufacturers have reduced CO2 emissions 📉 over the last 5 years (except Ford, GM and Mazda)
➡️ All large OEMs have succeeded to comply with GHG standards
➡️ BUT most OEMs need CO2 credit for this compliance

Today, the market share of Electric Vehicles 🚘⚡️ (including Plug-in Hybrid 🔌, 100% Battery Vehicle 🔋 and Fuel Cell) represents about 4%
